Maury Elementary Annual Fund
The Maury PTA raises critical funds to fill the gap between the DCPS funding and the School Budget.
The 2025-26 PTA contribution to the School Budget is projected to be $201,872. Over 90% of PTA funding directly supports Maury's Classrooms and Teachers -- money the PTA raises pays for five Classroom Aides' Salaries, Curriculums, Professional Development, and Supplies. The remaining funds are used to support the Maury Community (Affinity Groups, the Block Party, Movie Nights, Community Support, etc.). Overall, the PTA will spend approximately $405 per student attending Maury this year, and so the suggested donation is $405 for each child you have at Maury.
There are a couple of ways to support our children and staff during the Annual Fund Drive.
- Make the Suggested Gift by entering the number of students you have at Maury into the quantity box
- Make a One-Time Gift by inputting your desired amount in the box at the bottom of the page
- Become a Maury Monthly Sustainer by clicking "Yes" at the bottom of the page to indicate that you want your gift to recur, then follow the prompts for sustained giving
At the moment, we are unable to accept matching gifts for companies.
While we recognize that this represents a significant commitment, we are deeply grateful for every and any gift made to support our teachers, students, and the vibrant Maury community. Together, we can create an exceptional learning environment where every child thrives.
